Sweet Addiction – Valentine’s Day Gets Sweeter

Love is in the air… Its Valentine’s Day today. A day when love, care affection, oneness, togetherness is celebrated with flowers, gifts, treats, holidays, moments and… CHOCOLATES and CAKES!! Chocolates and cakes have been magical since decades and its surely a proven fact that even a sad heart smiles with a bite of such sweet savors.

There is no dearth of baked products in town here but I knew that someone special down there is making hearts melt, souls smile and spreading sweetness galore. Anu, who has been making chocolates and baking cakes since years is spreading happiness in lives of many this Valentine’s Day. She sent me a hamper of cake, brownies and chocolates and believe me her service is sweeter than what she serves.

Taste

If you haven’t experienced melting moments, then this is the place to be. This is the taste that takes you to another world. Fresh, soft, tasty with each flavor pampering my taste buds, her stuff was fresh, nice and yummilicious indeed.

Cost

I did feel it’s a little high on one’s pocket but if quality is what you demand then this is the key to unlock your sweet cravings.

Pan fudge ball

For a while I thought its something to do with a flower but as I took my first bite I closed my eyes and said – Mmmmmmm!! Need I say more?! A tasty flower to begin the season of love. Tasty Pan Fudge Ball coated with coconut with taste of rose leaving a sensational feeling that I didn’t want to let go off.

Raagi Brownie

Raagi (Finger Millet Flour) Brownie Drizzled With Peanut Butter Ganache

Isn’t Raagi dry and hard with not so easy an experience while cooking/baking? Then how can this be a Raagi Brownie? But she made it possible for me. Soft and sweet with goodness of health baked without butter, egg and white flour making it a perfect guilt free sin for those cravings.

Cakes

Now these are made and personalized for love with love. Beautiful icing with strong flavors topped with heart candies making it a perfect choice for Valentine’s Day. It was soft from within with each bite melting like a sweet treat. I was dazzled by Plain Vanilla Cake, Red Velvet Cupcake with Buttercream Rosette Icing, Vanilla Cupcake with White Buttercream Icing And Chocolate Cupcake Filled with Chocolate and Topped with Nutella Buttercream.

Chocolates

Chocolates were packed with different shapes and flavors. Each piece had a different taste which melted so perfectly leaving a lasting taste in my mouth. She beautifully packed Red and White Hearts, Mini Snicker Bar, Golden Hearts with homemade Praline Feuilletine Filling with  Imported Chocolate and Chocolate Filled with Berry Caramel. 

All in all this Valentine’s Day I did have a chocolaty affair with lots of cupcakes to share with that not only pampered my taste buds but made me crave for more. There are more orders coming soon.

A SINFUL DELIGHT ….

Two childhood friends Rohan and Milap had good degrees in hand and could have walked in to one of the best and biggest companies to make it big….They decided to make it bigger!! And the way to it was through everyone’s stomach. I think the very idea did a ‘Hokey Pokey’ on them and that’s how this brand came up when two innovative minds worked together to bring taste to life, they brought colours into life!

They entered the market with a big bang magic all full of surprises with imaginations of its customers put together to deliver exactly what the customer wants. Richness, quality, high standards, high quality and undoubtedly unique flavours. I am surely going to try their stores soon.

To me it was a surprise when my doorbell rang and two gentleman walked in with a red bag nicely packed with good branding done to make it obvious that my samples for review have arrived. Beautiful pink colour boxes contained those flavours waiting to reach to my taste buds

!

We started with Double Chocolate Therapy. A selfie with the first spoon and yes it was yum. Other flavours shared were Maniac Monkey and Mad king Alphonso…

Here is what each flavour did to me!

Double Chocolate Therapy

Belgian dark chocolate ice cream with brownies, Nutella and dark chocolate fudge. It sure did a magical therapy on me. The flavour melts in your mouth and you get all different chocolate flavours in one ice cream. It does lives up to its word.

Maniac Monkey

Chocolate ice cream with almonds, crunchy praline and white chocolate fudge flakes. Indeed loaded with nuts. Every bite gave me a nutty experience. A new taste for my taste buds. Loved the new try.

Mad King Alphonso

Ever tried freezing homemade mango shake and having it like a mango bar? This one made of real Ratnagiri mangoes tastes almost the same. One bite and you have real mangoes melting in your mouth. A must for mango lovers.

Expensive?? Yes but for the taste and the innovation, it’s worth it.

Overall?

A new brand in town with new flavours and a new twist to the regular ice cream tastes, giving it a different edge over rest. It is all set and is doing a good ‘Hokey Pokey’ in town.
